Nikon PROSTAFF 5 20-60x82mm Spotting Scope

Description

The stylish and compact Nikon PROSTAFF 5 20-60x82mm Fieldscope is an entry level spotting scope made by Nikon. The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope main bodies are about 20% lighter than the current RA III spotting scopes and feature a built-in sliding hood to protect the lens from rain and dust.

The newly developed zoom eyepiece lens minimizes colour aberration at the edge of the field of view, offering long eye relief for comfortable viewing over extended periods of use. The current eyepiece lenses for Spotting scope RA III series are compatible with the new PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope main body.

The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope has a large 82mm objective lens for a brighter field of view. Three types of eyepiece lenses with digi-scoping compatibility which connect to a wide variety of COOLPIX Series compact digital cameras, by using the FSB-series Digital Camera Bracket. All lenses and prisms in the main body and the eyepieces are multi-layer coated and are both lead and arsenic free with Nikon’s exclusive Eco-Glass.

Waterproof (Up to 1m for 10 minutes) and fog-free with O-ring seals and nitrogen gas in the main body. Two screw mounting holes of the main body are provided for stable mounting on a tripod adjustable for use with or without a digiscoping system. A stay-on case is included.
