And so we come to the end of another hunting season. With spring in the air and the promise of new life, it gives us time to reflect on the season gone by, the hunts we had, equipment we used and the memories we made. The season has also had a fair share of controversies and the Cecil saga and Blood Lions documentary are still fresh in our minds. Hunting in its various forms has been under public scrutiny for some time but it is intensifying with trophy hunting taking the full force and something tells me biltong hunters will be next.
