The vertically split design offers robust simplicity and ease of installation. This design increases surface contact with the scope tube while automatically centering on the base.

This feature eliminates the need for alignment bars or lapping and the rings will not cant the reticle when torquing the screws. Maxima Fixed rings are a simplistic design for those who like to set it and forget it. While the Maxima Quick Detach rings offer the ability to remove the rifle scope from the rifle and are guaranteed to Return-to-Zero when reattached.
