The Tikka T3x 9.3×62 Mauser Hunter Rifle was designed for the hunter and outdoorsman who appreciates the warm feel of a wooden walnut stock combined with a modern design and solid performance. Tikka T3x Hunter Rifles is built with traditional principles of walk and stalk hunting in mind, creating a light, accurate and reliable rifle.
The Tikka T3x 9.3×62 Mauser Hunter rifle offers consistent accuracy for the Hunter. The standard profile free-floating barrel of the Tikka T3x Hunter effectively eliminate excessive vibration. This will ensure solid accuracy and performance round after round when your hunting success depend on it. The Tikka T3x Stainless Laminated Hunter range is chambered in the most popular and proven hunting calibers. Depending on the caliber, it comes with a 22.4 to 24.4 inch, cold hammer forged barrel. The Hunter models also come with an ambidextrous stock and pistol grip. The Tikka T3x 9.3×62 Mauser Hunter also has a detachable magazine with a 3 round capacity. The Tikka T3x 9.3×62 Mauser Hunter is fitted with a high grade Walnut stock.
Tikka T3x Hunter and 9.3×62 Mauser Combination
The Tikka T3x chambered in the 9.3 x 62 Mauser Caliber is more of a specialist big game rifle. Acknowledged as one of the best all round cartridges, the 9.3 x 62 was originally developed in 1905 by Otto Bock.
The 9.3 projectiles has proven itself from hunting small to the largest antelope. It has also proven itself on thick skinned animals like buffalo over the years although not as popular as 375’s. The range of bullets that seem to be the most popular is in the 232 to 320 grain range. The moderate trajectories with a muzzle velocity around the 2150 to 2500 feet per second mark, makes this a useful rifle for hunting larger bodied antelope like Kudu, Eland and Blue Wildebeest.

Stock Noise Reduction
Unlike the Tikka T3x synthetic stocks which has a foam insert within the interior of the rear stock which lowers the stock-generated noise, the Hunter model has a solid walnut stock.
Redesigned ejection port
The new Tikka T3x receiver introduces a widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time.
Improved Rail Attachment
Always keep the target in your sight. The T3x models have extra screw placements on top of the receiver so that you can robustly attach a picatinny rail – even when using larger scopes.
Metallic Bolt Shroud
Robustness and quality go hand in hand. Metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin.
Steel Recoil Lug
This extra-strong lug has minimal deformation – even with larger calibers. Compared to aluminum, the steel lug doesn’t have strong imprinting qualities that would cause deformation when larger calibers are used.
