The new Tikka T3x 308 Winchester Super Varmint Cerakote rifle will offer consistent accuracy, on the range or out varminting or hunting on the plains of South Africa. The Tungsten Cerakote free-floating barrel of the Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote rifle very effectively eliminate vibration. This will ensure solid accuracy and performance round after round. The Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote range is chambered in the most popular and proven calibers. It comes with a 23.7 inch cold hammer forged barrel. A spiral fluted bolt body, enhances the overall appearance of this versatile rifle. The Tikka T3x 308 Winchester Super Varmint Cerakote also has a detachable magazine with a 5 round capacity.
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote is fitted with modular Roughtec synthetic stock. It comes with a vertical pistol grip which is better suited for prone shooting positions. The Super Varmint models also come with an adjustable cheek piece and a Zero MOA Picatinny rail on top of the receiver for quick, versatile and effortless scope mounting. If you’re looking for a true long distance tool, then look no further. The T3x synthetic stock also has an additional attachment point which allows you to change the width of the stock’s fore-end. Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote and 308 Winchester Combination
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote chambered in the 308 Winchester Caliber is more of a specialist medium to long range rifle. The .30 projectiles has proven itself from long range gong shoots to a great caliber for short to longer distance hunting. The range of bullets that seem to be the most popular is in the 130 to 195 grain range. The trajectories with a muzzle velocity around the 2400 to 2900 ft/s mark, makes this a useful rifle for hunting medium to larger bodied antelope like Kudu, Eland and Blue Wildebeest. The ability of the 308 Winchester Caliber to achieve good velocity with moderate recoil and still deliver knock down power on larger bodied animals, makes it a great choice for competition shooters and hunters alike.

Tikka T3x 308 Winchester Super Varmint Features
Modular Stock
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote rifle has a new modular synthetic stock that features a Roughtec finish and interchangeable pistol grips. This will enable the shooter to modify the angle of the grip which allows for multiple shooting positions.
Improved Grip and For-end
The new Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote synthetic stock has an asymmetrical grip pattern and shape that has been specifically designed to give a solid grip in all conditions, a grip that never slips. The For-end can also be changed to suit specific needs.
New recoil pad
Part of the improvements to the Tikka T3x models was new recoil pad technology. It reduces the impact of the recoil on the shooter which is a very useful feature, especially on the heavy calibers. The new robust pad allows you to fully concentrate on the accuracy of your shots.
Two stage trigger
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote has a very precise two-stage trigger unit. It brakes with a lovely crisp let off and no over pull – ideal for an accurate long-range rifle for precision shooting.
Redesigned ejection port
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint features the redesigned ejection port in the receiver. It introduces a widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time, without making use of the detachable magazine.
Safety and magazine
The safety is the standard lever-operated design mounted to the right side under the bolt. A red dot for fire and a single slide rearward for safe. For the more safety conscious shooters. There is a small lever that one can depress when the rifle is on safe. This will allow the shooter to open the bolt and remove a round.
The Super Varmint Cerakote comes standard with a five round magazine. Manufactured from a hard black polymer, making it light, durable and impervious to rust.
Metallic Bolt Shroud
Robustness and quality go hand in hand. The metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin.
Steel Recoil Lug
This extra-strong steel lug has minimal deformation – even with larger calibers. Compared to aluminium, the steel lug doesn’t have strong imprinting qualities that would cause deformation when larger calibers are used.
Adjustable Cheek Piece & Picatinny Rail
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint Cerakote is fitted with an adjustable cheek piece. This will assist with correct eye alignment to the rifle scope. It is also fitted with a Zero MOA Picatinny rail on top of the receiver.
