Laminated Stock

The Tikka T3x Sporter rifle has a stable laminated stock that has various modular features. This will enable the shooter to modify and adjust the position of components on the stock to fit personal requirements.

Wide Ventilated For-end

The laminated stock of the Tikka T3x Sporter has a wide symmetrical square shaped for-end. There is no grip pattern on the stock. The for-end has ventilation slots specifically to assist with heat dissipation generated from the barrel. There is also a pre-fitted rail on the side of the for-end for attaching a sling to the rifle.

New adjustable recoil pad

Part of the improvements to the Tikka T3x models was new recoil pad technology. It reduces the impact of the recoil on the shooter. This is a very useful feature, especially on the heavy calibers. The new robust pad allows you to fully concentrate on the accuracy of your shots. The recoil pad is vertically adjustable. It may be extended with optional spacers for an improved fit and shooting posture.

Adjustable Cheekpiece

The T3 Sporter rifle’s adjustable cheek piece allows for optimal scope alignment. The cheek piece can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. The cheek piece has an integrated memory feature. It allows the shooter to lock the cheek piece to a certain height and position. If the cheek piece is removed and replaced, the position is memorized.

Redesigned ejection port

The Tikka T3x Sporter features the redesigned ejection port in the receiver. It introduces a widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time, without making use of the detachable magazine.

Improved Rail Attachment

The T3x models have extra screw placements on top of the receiver. This feature is so that you can robustly attach a picatinny rail – even when using larger scopes. This new feature ensure a more secure attachment for optical systems to the rifle.

Metallic Bolt Shroud

Robustness and quality go hand in hand. The metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin.

Steel Recoil Lug

This extra-strong steel lug has minimal deformation – even with larger calibers. Compared to aluminium, the steel lug doesn’t have strong imprinting qualities that would cause deformation when larger calibers are used.

Adjustable Trigger and Detachable Magazine

The Tikka T3x Sporter is fitted with an adjustable trigger. It also comes standard with a flush fitting, detachable 5 round magazine.
