Description
The new Tikka T3x 260 Remington 24inch CTR Stainless (Adjustable Cheek Piece) 1:8″ Twist will offer the same consistent accuracy on the range or out hunting the Karoo plains or Bushveld of South Africa. The free-floating 24 inch semi varmint barrel of the Tikka T3x CTR effectively eliminates vibration. The result is consistent accuracy and performance round after round. The Tikka T3x Compact Tactical Rifle is a multipurpose rifle. The CTR features a 10-round steel magazine and comes standard with a vertical angled grip for prone shooting positions. The ZERO MOA picatinny rail fitted to the receiver add scope mounting versatility to the CTR.
The Tikka T3x 260 Remington CTR is a great rifle for walk and stalk hunting. The 24″ semi varmint barrel will offer precision accuracy without adding to much weight. The barrel is also pre-threaded to accommodate a suppressor(silencer) or muzzle break. The Tikka T3x 260 Remington 24 Inch CTR has also been tested and performed with great efficiency on long range applications.
Tikka T3x CTR 24 Inch and 260 Remington Combination
The Tikka T3x CTR chambered in the popular 260 Remington Caliber, is a fantastic all round rifle. The 6.5mm projectiles has proven itself from long range gong shoots to a great caliber for short to longer distance hunting. The range of bullets that is most popular is in the 120 to 156 grain range. The flat trajectories with a muzzle velocity around the 2550 to 3050 ft/s mark, makes this a useful rifle for hunting medium bodied antelope. The ability of the 260 Remington Caliber to achieve good velocity with moderate recoil and still deliver knock down power makes it a great choice for competition shooters and hunters alike.

Modular Stock
The Tikka T3x rifles has a new modular synthetic stock that features interchangeable pistol grips, making it possible to modify the angle of the grip which allows for multiple shooting positions.
Improved Grip
The new Tikka T3x synthetic stock has a new asymmetrical grip pattern and shape that has been specifically designed to give a solid grip in all conditions, a grip that never slips.
New recoil pad
The new Tikka T3x models come with a new recoil pad technology that reduces the impact of recoil on the shooter. The new robust pad allows you to fully concentrate on the accuracy of your shots.
Stock Noise Reduction
The new Tikka T3x synthetic stocks now have a foam insert within the interior of the rear stock which lowers the stock-generated noise and can help you keep your target in sight. Not available for models with an adjustable cheek piece.
Redesigned ejection port
The new Tikka T3x receiver introduces a widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time.
Improved Rail Attachment
Always keep the target in your sight. The T3x models have extra screw placements on top of the receiver so that you can robustly attach a picatinny rail – even when using larger scopes.
Metallic Bolt Shroud
Robustness and quality go hand in hand. Metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin.
Steel Recoil Lug
This extra-strong lug has minimal deformation – even with larger calibers. Compared to aluminium, the steel lug doesn’t have strong imprinting qualities that would cause deformation when larger calibers are used.
