The Tikka T3 Varmint uses a two locking lug action. The ACTION is designed for accuracy, reliability and easy servicing. One of the smoothest actions on the market, the bolt features a spring loaded plunger and ejector as well as removable bolt handle.
The Tikka T3 Varmint chambered in the 300 Winchester Magnum has a long action and the action size is matched to the cartridge. Twist rates are chosen for each caliber to optimize accuracy and bullet performance.
All Tikka T3 Varmint rifles include the Tikka single-stage trigger, adjustable from 1 to 2 kg (2-4 lbs).
The stock is a light but solid reinforced all black polymer, with an extra wide fore-end for bench rest shooting. Positive checkering provides for comfort and a firm grip in all weather conditions. Sling swivels are a standard feature and accommodate either a bipod or a sling.
The hammer forged blued bull barrel ships without open sights for a clean, modern look finished with a non-reflective satin.
