The 190 grain was introduced in the early 1960s, won its first Wimbledon Cup in 1964, and set a world record of 1153 out of 1200 at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, that same year. This bullet is still a favorite for long-range competitors. Sierra MatchKing bullets have set the standards worldwide for consistent accuracy in handguns as well as rifles.

Sierra’s famous MatchKing®design assures superb accuracy, flat trajectory, and high momentum delivery with low sensitivity to crosswinds at all ranges. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.
