The Sierra MatchKing 30 Cal .308 155gr HPBT Bullet are the pride of the Sierra bullet family. Unmatched worldwide and truly world class in all respects. The 155 grain was designed especially for PALMA® competition (800, 900, and 1000 yds.). First introduced at the 1992 PALMA® matches held in Raton, New Mexico, this bullet has earned high praise from long-range competitive shooters around the world. In addition, Sierra’s famous MatchKing design assures superb accuracy, flat trajectory, and high momentum delivery with low sensitivity to crosswinds at all ranges.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
