Description
Calling the Sako 85 Hunter 300 Winchester Magnum “Standard” is a very serious understatement. It caters for the serious shooter who’s looking to achieve top class performance through innovation, while at the same time preferring the classic styling, making it a truly valued rifle to both shoot and own. The action size is matched to the cartridge featuring mechanical ejection and an integral tapered scope mount rail. Additionally there is controlled feed on all models to ensure reliable cartridge feed to the chamber in all situations (Pat. pend). The single-set Trigger pull is adjustable from 1 kg to 2 kg (2 to 4 lbs). The Safety features a mechanism that allows for the loading and unloading of the rifle with the safety engaged.

The prestigious antique-style brass inlay on the pistol grip complete the graceful lines of the Sako 85 Hunter. The classic checkering pattern of the Hunter provides even more functionality and good looks.
The totally free-floating barrel is cold hammer-forged. Furthermore, as with all Sako rifles, the 85 Hunter is tested to shoot 1-inch groups or better at 100 yards or more.
