True to the Ruger Brand, the designers have come up with a great long range solution in the legendary Hawkeye range. The Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target 300 Win Mag was designed with the more traditional shooter in mind. The adjustable stock, matte finish, muzzle brake, heavy barrel and detachable box magazine all combine to look like a dedicated sniper rifle. Similarly, the new LRT rifle incorporates Ruger’s non-rotating claw extractor action and fixed ejector into a dedicated long-range shooting platform.
The Ruger Hawkeye LRT 300 Win Mag comes equipped with a 26-inch free-floated cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel with a heavy profile and a 5/8×24 threaded muzzle. The LRT has a high-quality brown laminate stock and features black epoxy resin texturing over the entire length. The broad beavertail fore-end comes with a flat M-Lok rail for mounting accessories like bipods. Chambered in the best long range calibers. In addition, the Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target will be a great rifle, off the shelf with custom features and matching precision.

The Ruger® LRT stock with QD sling attachment points features a cut out to create a stable surface to accomodate shooting bags. It also has a soft rubber buttpad with the option of adding spacers to adjust the LOP. The wide beavertail type forend has a M-Lock rail for the attachment of a Bipod at various positions. The two-way adjustable polymer cheekpiece is easy to customize to suit the shooter’s facial structure. A screw-adjustable clamping lever allows the shooter to lock and unlock the polymer comb for both vertical and horizontal adjustments. The Hawkeye LRT incorporate a more upright pistol grip. Therefore, it allows the shooter to position the hand comfortably for prone or bench shooting. The front face of the pistol grip is nearly vertical. It allows for individual preference to position the hand as high or low on the grip.

Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target Rifle Barrel
The Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target comes with a 26 inch, heavy contour cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R Rifling at minimum bore and groove dimensions, minimum headspace and centralized chamber. Moreover, the barrel also features a Ruger Precision® Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake to effectively reduce felt recoil by as much as 58 percent while minimizing noise and blast to the sides of the shooter.

The Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target three-position safety is easily accessible and allows the shooter to lock the bolt or to load and unload the rifle with the safety engaged. Ruger Hawkeye Long Range Target Rifle Bolt Action and Magazine
Firstly, the Hawkeye LRT comes with the non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor. It is among the most positive case extraction systems ever invented. It features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward. Just as you’d expect from a Mauser-inspired controlled-round-feed rifle. Secondly, the magazine is one of the few lightweight components in the construction of the Hawkeye LRT. The detachable magazine includes is a single stack five-round P-Mag. The magazine drop lever protrudes down in front of the trigger guard and is easily operated by the pointer finger of the shooting hand.
