The Muela Pointer 12.R Knife is part of the family of outdoor knives manufactured by Muela. The MoVa steel used, is a manufacturing material with the addition of molybdenum and vanadium and hardened at 57-61HRC. MoVa steel is ideal is for general use knives, survival or bush craft. As for the conditions and cutting capacity, this type of steel has a sublime versatility in all types of work and textures. In addition, its structural balance is really incredible. The composition of this steel is 0.53% carbon, 0.50% manganese, 0.35% silicon, 14.50% chromium, 0.50% molybdenum and 0.18% vanadium. It is equivalent to X48CR13 in general properties.
