The Glock 48 doesn’t feel like any double column 9mm in your hand. The frame contains elements of the Gen5 and Slimline series, like the short trigger distance and a built-in beavertail. A reversible magazine latch and the smashing accurate, match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB). This is all finished with well placed precision-milled front serrations on the slide.
The grip has a built in beaver tail design that allows the shooter to acquire a higher and tighter grip. The silver slide has a nPVD coating. The result is that it is very corrosion and chemical resistant. The texture of the grip is more aggressive and lets the shooter operate the pistol easily. The 10-round magazine capacity makes it ideal for concealed carry. The new Glock 48 pistol uses a different magazine from the Glock 43. It is however compatible with the Glock 43x.
